Papillomas
Papillomas
Papillomas look like small moles and are small and round lumps of skin. Usually their color is the same as the skin but they can also be pink, brown or even darker. Papillomas resemble common moles.
They are caused by low risk HPV forms. Papillomas are usually asymptomatic and are particularly common in people after the age of 25-30. Only a few papillomas produce medical symptoms.
Warts are classified into:
- Common warts
- Flat Warts
- Plantar Warts
Salicylic acid is frequently used for the treatment of warts.
It is slowly and painlessly absorbed into the skin, causing exfoliation of the virus-containing cells.
In Guru Derma we treat warts by:
Warts
Warts treatment with CO2 Laser is the most modern and effective method, as it leads to their complete elimination without leaving scars on the skin.
The use of CO2 Laser is painless and bloodless, and immediately after the removal of the ants, you can return to your normal activities.
The laser beam is directed with millimeter precision to the desired point, without affecting the surrounding healthy tissue.
Diathermocoagulation
Monopolar diathermocoagulation, or electrosurgery. Diathermocoagulation is an invasive technique in which a needle is used to cauterize various lesions on the surface of the skin.
With this method of removing papillomas, electricity and thermal energy are applied. With diathermocoagulation we can eliminate lesions such as small choroidal hemangiomas, papillomas, hyperkeratosis, sebaceous hyperplasia and others. The treatment is the least invasive and causes only a slight momentary burning sensation on the skin. Therefore, the whole procedure can be carried out either with the use of a local anesthetic cream or with a local injection of xylocaine , in which case it is extremely well tolerated.
